You are such an amazing woman and I am very inspired by the way you live your life and look at your experiences. I had my first and only child (so far) naturally and my labor was only 6 hours. My mom had 4 naturally, I was her first and her longest labor at 4 hours. My 3 siblings were born after less than 1 hour a piece. My transition was pretty hard and I remember telling my midwife that I was wrong and I should have gotten the epidural. She checked me and told me I could push whenever I wanted. I have always wondered if a hospital birth with epidural would have been as scary as I was afraid it would be. I was really against the idea of being put through pretty much the same experience you had with Karis. I am very thankful I had a natural birth, especially after reading your comparison. Does he just fuss while nursing, or does he have a fussy time during some part of the  day as well?  Have you taken him to the chiro yet?  My sis-in-law had a new baby that fussed while nursing and after a quick adjustment he was as happy as can be!  My only other suggestion would be to take him to Laura and have her test him for various allergies.  I wish I had done that with Karlie, because she was fussy in the evenings her entire 2nd month, but I didn\u0026#39;t really think about til later.  And by her 3rd month she was fine.\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003eKaris does have some kind of peanut allergy.  We found out when she was around a year old because she wasn\u0026#39;t gaining weight like the pedi thought she should so they ran some allergy tests.  But its not the kind of allergy that makes her swell up and have a hard time breathing (although the docs say it is :)  She just breaks out in little red welts wherever the PB touches her face or hands.  Laura said its an allergy to the mold in peanuts, not the peanuts itself.  Anyways, I ate tons of peanut butter throughout pregnancy and nursing and it never seemed to bother her a bit.  I also consumed a ridiculous amount of dairy and it never seemed to bother her either, although she had the exact same topical reaction to yogurt and milk when I introduced it. But she was the easiest, least fussy baby ever, so it evidently didn\u0026#39;t bother her at all to drink it in my milk. Weird.  But the allergist told me that my over indulgence in peanut butter and dairy caused the allergies.  And then I asked my OB about that (like, why didn\u0026#39;t they warn me? ) and she had never heard of consumption during pregnancy causing the allergies.  Who knows.\u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003eAnyways, I wish I could be more help but that is all I can think of.  It\u0026#39;s so hard  to see a little one fussing and not be able to do much to help!
